Overview of PXG Gen 2 Irons
PXG Gen 2 Irons are the latest iteration of irons from Parsons Xtreme Golf. The irons feature a multi-material construction, combining a high-strength steel body with an ultra-thin face insert made of 17-4 stainless steel. This combination helps to provide tremendous ball speed for more distance and forgiveness, as well as improved feel and sound. The clubhead also features a unique cavity design that helps to further increase the size of the sweet spot for consistent performance. Additionally, the irons are available in two different models – Tour and Players – depending on your desired level of performance. The Tour model features a traditional blade shape and minimal offset, providing greater control and workability for experienced players. Meanwhile, the Players model offers more forgiveness with its slightly larger head shape and moderate offset.
PXG Gen 2 Irons also feature an adjustable weighting system that allows you to customize your clubs to suit your individual needs. The weights can be moved around the perimeter of the clubhead to alter the center of gravity location which in turn affects launch angle, spin rate, and shot shape.
